Setlist Question
 

Hey, I've noticed there's a lil gap inbetween the May 31st Dudingen date and the Jun 27 Chicago show..I've been reading the set-lists of the recent shows and they are generally the same, just in different order.

Do you think the gap would signify a set-list change?

Entirely possible. I really hope that it stays about the same, though. I wants to see me some Schizophrenia.

True, call me LAME but I'd like to see some more Goo. I noticed Lee did 'Mote' for the first show, but he stopped after that. It's probably tough cause the way he sings on the record is kinda hard to amplify.

It'll be my first Sonic Youth show so I'm really happy to see anything. I'd kill for some Hey Joni or Eric's Trip though.

I'd like one or two curveball songs. I nearly died when they opened with She Is Not Alone when I saw their July 4th show last year.

i just hope they keep up cross the breeze and brother james. i would probably die if they played both those here in toronto

by the time they come to play at Primavera Sound i wish they would include some tracks from the 1995-2004 period and... 'Shaking Hell'!

I just hope they don't stick to only playing songs from The Eternal. I would be really depressed if that happened. Not that I don't like the album, but seeing them is a rare opportunity for me (I live in Brazil), so I want to listen to stuff from various albums.

They'll play most of the new album for sure. That's their M.O. and like 6 or so good oldies.
I want them to dust off some A Thousand Leaves songs. The Eternal reminds me of it a bit and a few ATL gems mixed in with a heavy Eternal set list would work VERY WELL... also they haven't whipped out a ATL in a while... and seeing it was 10 years ago it came out... I think it's time to dust off Hits Of sunshine, Sunday and Hoarfrost!

I NEVER THOUGHT THEY WOULD PLAY THE WORLD LOOKS RED OR SHAKING HELL, BUT THEY DID PLAY IT! i THINK IT'S COMPLETELY POSSIBLE THEY WOULD PLAY IT... THEY HAVEN'T TOUCHED THE ALBUM IN 8 YEARS...

Sunday was resurrected for like three shows in 2006

At my first show in 06 They finished their set with Brother James and Shaking hell..

Diamond Sea resurrection? Have they even played it since WM?

They played Sunday in France in 2007.

I really just want 'The Diamond Sea' as an encore. And I'd love it if 'Wildflower Soul' got worked in there. Two of my favorite Sonic Youth tracks which I've never heard live.

According to a swedish newspaper they played both the song "Daydream nation" and swimsuit issue during their gig at way out west in august last year=) I guess it wasn´t a sonic youth fan who wrote the review

Yes I really want to hear a half hour long version of Diamond Sea. Fucking noise would be beautiful!
