I think they're a really good band, their album Loveless is amazing, Isn't anything is great too what do you think?

great band that took me ten years too long to get into due to my misconception of the pussyfied fans of said band, and of the music contained within, but holy FUCK is it not the most sublime sonic sprawl....

Who is this band? I've no idea what anyone is talking about here. As far as I know, My Bloody Valentine is the name of a tiresome early 1980's splatter film. Why would anyone want to name themselves after that? And why are we talking about this unknown band in the first place.....surely we should be talking about the under-rated Dinosaur Jr or The Strokes?

I really wish that the re-masters of Loveless will be released soon, or a leak will surface. They keep delaying them.

If you look at the Loveless cover through 3d Glasses you see a slightly chubby bloke building a career out of a Dinosaur Jnr riff and a whammy bar.

They're okay. Loveless has like 3 good songs. Isn't Anything is good. You Made me Realize is a good lil' ep. Decent band. Nothing special.

The original, Canadian movie is great though.

I honestly think that's about the fairest, most sensible assessment of MBV I've read here so far. Another case of a band not half as bad as their critics suggest or half as good as their fans insist. Same with Pavement and Dinosaur Jnr.

Love the Canadian film...... which is finally being released UNCUT this month! That's right folks the film will finally make it's debut (after nearly 30 years) in it's original uncensored, gore-filled version. Pick it up!

the movie is amazing.

Some of the best atmosphere in any horror movie ever. Love the setting, the killings, etc. Just great.

I wish they'd release the uncut version but that won't happen until Paramount loses the rights completely. Fuck them.

Ding dong dildo..... you're a no-good horror fan and a terrible boardie for missing the fact that the UNCUT version will be released to dvd next week! It's a joint effort between Lions Gate and Paramount. Over 3 minutes of footage has been restored to the film's running time.

i wanna see the uncut version of the movie, but honestly "over 3 minutes of footage" being restored is not that exciting,i'm sure whatever got cut out is pure awesome however

Because they're both in a very similar music boat, and Loveless is an Alternative classic, hence it's a given we'd like it so much.
