CENTIPEDES!!!




I have a basement room and these fuckers are multiplying now that it's summer. They make my skin crawl with their hair-like legs (I mainly see the top kind and occasionally the bottom). When you smash them, the legs fall off easy and twitch mercilessly.

I stepped on one once in the dark and I didn't know it until I went into a lighted room and looked at the bottom of my foot, and scads of little twitchy legs were on it. I went back and found the fat, gross thing laying dead on the floor missing most of it's legs; it looked kind of like a maggot on the bottom without those legs. I seriously felt nautious more than I have in years. I'm feeling that way again after reliving this.

I hate those weird broken bones situations.

Oh yeah! Very cringe-worthy! I saw a video of a soccer player get kicked and his whole ankle bone just folded! UGGGH!
Skate slam vids of rolling ankles makes me nautious. Done that too many times.

There's a video somewhere on the web where 2 guys arm wrestle and one of them breaks his arm! I mean WTF !!!

i saw someone be sick with a crash helmet on once. no picture unfortunatly but you can imagine the scene in all its puke filled glory.

last week i emptied a water holder that had becomed clogged in the garden. inside was the decayed body of either a rat or a squirrel not sure which. it was so hideous and the smell so bad i could not eat properly for days.

The sound of someone else throwing up grosses me right out.

Dead animals look and smell pretty gross too.

i think i am more digusted with cockroaches. they really make my skin crawl.

I don't know how to find a picture of this, but one thing that is repulsive to me is when I can smell coffee on someone's breath. It makes me gag.

Grotesque photos of dead people (whether real or fake) don't really make me feel sick, but if I had to watch those same people in the process of dying (especially if they are obviously struggling to breathe) I get physically ill and can't do much of anything for the rest of the day. Obviously most of those videos are just fake things from movies and television, but when I'm watching it, it might as well be real. And then of course, there's Faces of Death. I watched one of those videos with a friend of mine. In fact, my friend had always supported the death penalty, but after seeing that she changed her mind.

Story: A few weeks ago I was in the bathroom, minding my buisness, and I look over at the tub and there's a huge one trying to crawl out, but it was wet in the tub so it kept sliding down. I was still going and helpless, so I started freaking out. Then I finally finished (it felt like hours but it was probably only a few seconds) and ran upstairs hysterical. I was like that for a good 30+ minutes. That's when I first realized how deathly afraid of centipedes I am. I don't mind spiders or other bugs (I actually like them), though. Just centipedes.

I'm also afraid of:
The dark (if I'm outside alone at night and sometimes in my room I get paranoid and start shaking, thinking someone is going to kill me or something)
Heights (I can climb tall things but I'm always paranoid that it's going to collapse)

That's about it..

I passed out while watching an episode of CSI once. In it, this guy was pushed off of a ladder and he fell and was impaled on one of bars in his iron fence. The whole scene with him slowly dying was just really gratuitous. I mean he had this huge spike coming through his chest and he was spitting blood and looked so pale and terrified. I was watching this, standing up, and I started to feel a little dizzy and just fell over.

I actually had to take the same medication that people with elephantitis do a few weeks ago

This guy at work fools me into thinking I've been stabbed. He's like 'i can see my reflection in this knife. Hmm'. Then a few seconds later he'll plunge a carrot into my side or something and I'll fall over gasping. Death. :[

Oh yeah, you said that in the near death experiences thread too. I was always really freaked by knives when I was younger, but I used to have a friend that pulled a knife on a guy that tried to steal our bikes, and he used to carry a hatchet around wherever he went. That kind of desensitized me, and I'm terrified of the guy now.

Word. I won't even handle knives.

It's a guy who got a yeast infection in his mouth :/. Really gross, my friend Mel showed me the pictures a while back because it was the grossest picture she ever saw

I feel so lucky to have never lived in a place with cockroaches! I've only seen a few in my life when I was visiting New Orleans - they were fucking huge!

last week i saw a man commit suicide. that was pretty upsetting.

The crunching sound created by broken bones gets me.
