health problems

one thing we havnt discussed on here. what are some of your general health problems? for me there was my shoulder surgery obviously, but after 7 weeks im now starting to feel much better, and started physical therapy. i gained 20 lbs since the injury and lost all my muscle, so i realllllly wanna start running and working out again, but i gota take it easy for another few months or so, oh well. my other main thing is my high blood pressure. its hereditary on my dad's side of the family. everyone man on my father's mother's side of the family has died of heart disease before the age of 45. the only one who's lived beyond that is my dad, and thats because he has been on the medication he needs. this morning for instance i had one of my routine check ups with my cardiologist, and i hadnt taken my meds, and i was out drinking till 4 am, so i only slept two fucking hours. needless to say, my blood pressure was sky rocketed (164 over 99), and my doctor freaked, but i told him my situtation. so i take a combo of lisinoprol and torpoil, which are beta blockers and pretty much control the strain of my blood flow. i also have mild bipolar disorder, also hereditary from my dad's side of the family. i dont take anything for that though.

Cantankerous 09.20.2008 12:51 PM

i've made 4000000 threads about health problems

sciatica
oral allergy syndrome
probably bipolar disorder

i had hepatitis b but i got that sorted out. (it was the acute form)

schizophrenicroom 09.20.2008 12:52 PM

i have mild panic attacks.

SYRFox 09.20.2008 12:58 PM

I'm color-blind. Also I have a heart murmur. I have frequent pains in my back, for two years I had regular "kinesitherapy". Frequent tooth problems too.
Nothing too important though.
I have no diagnocized mental problems, but I think I'm a little paranoiac

Everyneurotic 09.20.2008 01:05 PM

i currently have bronchitis, or getting over it.

i'm prone to respiratory diseases.

atsonicpark 09.20.2008 01:12 PM

I've been diagnosed with acid reflux, ocd, and depression.

I used to have scoliosis.

HaydenAsche 09.20.2008 01:13 PM

Well, my nervous system is severely fucked.
My extremities go numb at random times.
I have severe panic attacks and I am constantly anxious.
I have chronic bronchitis.
Lots of skin shit. Psoriasis, excema, etc.
I have a bad siatic nerve. It's a family thing. My dad just had major surgery on his.
Mad acid reflux.

i have eczema as well. i have it under control though, i rarely get attacks because i moisturise and use cortizone like a mofo. i used to have it so bad in the bend of my elbows.

do you have sciatica too? i have it from pressure points.

I'm not sure what sciatica is. I've never heard it. Granted, the majority of the things I have I haven't been to the doctor for in years. I don't have health insurance so I don't use anything but otc medication.

Cantankerous 09.20.2008 01:28 PM

you said you had a bad sciatic nerve right?

do you get pain in your lower back/ass/leg?

i don't have insurance either so i'm paying out the ass for prescriptions. i rly should just bite the bullet and get insurance but it would cost so much to insure me and i'm not sure it would actually save me any money. nor am i about to get arrested for something stupid like insurance fraud (right?) if i told them i don't smoke etc so it would be cheaper.

!@£$%@$£)$%^)*^)£$^%)*^£$£)*^$)^*£$*^£$) is going to come in here and tell me stupid shit because i mentioned insurance.

HaydenAsche 09.20.2008 01:31 PM

Yeah, dude! It really sucks. It comes and goes but I can't sit down or lay down and I just have to stand up in the most pain ever. I hate it.

floatingslowly 09.20.2008 01:32 PM

I was born dead, so there's not much that I can do to top that.

I take them when I have them. Thankfully, my grandmother gives me all of her old painkillers that she never took so I've got enough T3 and Perc10s to last me the next year.

not today honey, sorry.

Cantankerous 09.20.2008 01:42 PM

thank christ. i've put up with enough bullshit in the last week.

davenotdead 09.20.2008 01:44 PM

i googled eczema and it looked really nasty, so i didn't even post pics of the severe forms

you should start your own thread and list the your "health problems" that make conflict with you being dead.

"can move my fingers and type semi-coherent sentences" seems to be one.

floatingslowly 09.20.2008 01:52 PM

I'm not dead anymore, though.

I got better.

terriblecanyons 09.20.2008 01:53 PM

Uh, as everyone ever knows, I have a broken foot.
And my sinuses are really stupid. The entire time I lived in WY my sinuses were constantly bleeding and stuffed up so I had a chronic sinus infection. I probably still do but it's not as bothersome anymore.

you got switched on, good for you.

PAULYBEE2656 09.20.2008 01:57 PM

im ot chronic but need daily inhalers both relief and medicinal...
if i get any cold or flu it goes from my head to my chest and if i am not real careful i will get an asthma attack and have to be nebulized. last attack was a couple of weeks ago...

always happens during the summer/autumn changeover and this years summer has been hellawet and humid, the worst weather for us asthmatics...

apart from that im pretty ok,

if you only knew how right you were.

then again, maybe you do.

want another fun and completely true fact?

I was made by Honda. Dr. Honda, to be exact.

:)

SuperCreep 09.20.2008 02:04 PM

My vision is crap. I have a very high myopia. Had to get surgery on my left eye when I was twelve since my retina was detaching, else I would have gone blind in that eye.

I've been having really terrible stomach problems since I was sixteen. I can't digest anything well without getting sick, so I tend to eat very small meals. I missed half a year of school when I was diagnosed for it.

Oh, and uh, acne, I guess, but it's starting to go away. It used to be a lot worse in my late teens.

i see what you did there but i won't tell you if i can see what you did there or not.

for some reason, this new fact, coupled with the other thread, makes me think of your appearance as a cross between astro boy and elp's brain salad surgery album cover.

_slavo_ 09.20.2008 04:04 PM

high blood pressure
social anxiety
allergy

other than that i'm fit

al shabbray 09.20.2008 04:37 PM

MellySingsDoom 09.20.2008 06:33 PM

Depression, paranoia, panic attacks.
But enough of that - my worst problem is looking like Rick Astley.
That, and a chronic addiction to the Ting Tings.

MellySingsDoom 09.20.2008 07:36 PM

That's not my name....it's happening again. Arrrggghhh!!!!

Everyneurotic 09.20.2008 07:42 PM

melly, are you like rumpelstiltskin?

MellySingsDoom 09.20.2008 07:46 PM

Everyneuro - yes, but minus the gold stuff, the dwarf, and plus a big Whitehouse collection. You hear me, Billiam Wennett?

Death & the Maiden 09.20.2008 07:54 PM

Asthma
Bad sinuses/almost constant hayfever

Everyneurotic 09.20.2008 07:56 PM

i heard that if you say 'peter sotos' three times, william bennett appears, takes away your whitehouse discs/tapes/what have you, takes your computer away (before writing down your ip number) and then kicks you in the balls while screaming "SHIT OFF MY ARSE!!! MY COCK RAPES YOUR MOTHER'S CUNT!! HEIL! HEIL". after which he disappears into thin air.

And then writes about it on his blogzzzzzzzz.

And again, Everyneuro brings the laffs to the yard!

Everyneurotic 09.20.2008 08:05 PM

i somtimes dream of starting a comedy p.e. band, something called "greenhouse" or perhaps "gefilte fish jügend" and just scream bloody murder about knitting and upholstery.

susan lawly records, here i come!! (ohh...no pun intended).

EMMAh 09.20.2008 11:31 PM

I have a kidney stone, and a common cold at the moment. I also have really bad anxiety.

✌➬ 09.20.2008 11:35 PM

Depression, deaf in my right ear, I also have at least 8 operations by the time I was 16. 7 hernia related, one tonsils.

girlgun 09.20.2008 11:35 PM

well geez...
i have:

*degenerative disc disease (my discs in my back and neck slip out and then smash my nerves.. so not it's not just sciatica, it's completely cutting off my nerve and shit goes dead... yadda yadda emergency surgery... painful....)
*asthma
*hypertension
*optic nerve damage and therefore shittons of floaters in my eyes
*arthritis from my orthopedic problems
*every sort of headache you can think of... tension, migraine, blaaahhh...
*i have the most disgusting tonsils EVER. ENT docs typically say "EW" when they look at them and chronically have tonsillitis
*thomsen's disease which my dad failed to mention to me until i told him i thought i had some sort of muscle problem and he said "oh yeah! you probably do... i have it and it's dominant...."
*i've had cervical cancer
*i've had a pseudo tumor in my head

and i've been diagnosed with an infinite amount of psychiatric disorders. har....

why don't people don't want to insure me?
