OH DEAR....

im up at 5 am every morning to be in work at 5.30am.
im sure this isnt your normal rising time tho pookie!!!

Alas, it is.

I'm up to get a girl, a boy and a grown woman ready for school, pre-school, and work.

Courage is a kind of endurance in the face of fear but not all endurance is courageous.

And by "today" I am answering for yesterday as it is only 2 AM.

i've only just got up and haven't learned anything yet but i'll keep you posted if and when it happens

fair enough.. im lucky. i usually miss the pre school/school run as they arent in til 9 am and im well gone but ive a week off work due to sickness so its my turn!!!!

now house empty, the new jimmy cake album blaring from the stereo and a pot of coffee ready to be consumed.......

That I like Brel's slower ballads (La ville s'endormait, l'amour est mort, ne me quitte pas...) just as much as his more pacy, melodic songs (bruxelles, les flamandes, les bourgeois, valse a mille temps...)

"Irregardless", despite its lamentable addition to some dictionaries, is not a real word.

Isn't it just "regardless"? Surely "irregardless" is a double negative.

It sounds like an Americanism to me.

• In the Family Guy episode "Lois Kills Stewie" (Part 2), Stewie threatens to consign anyone who uses irregardless to a work camp.
• In a second season episode ("Irregarding Steve") of American Dad, Steve Smith and Roger the alien make fun of Stan Smith when he uses the term. Steve remarks, "Irregardless? That's not even a real word. You're affixing the negative prefix 'ir-' to 'regardless', but, as 'regardless' is already negative, it's a logical absurdity!"

i learnt that my dog is still nice to an irish wolfhound when he stands up and towers above him. he's cautious (my dog is dalmatian-size) but not scared.

i love both dogs. been talking to the owner of the wolfhound a bit. it's an amazing animal, too bad they don't get old.

whats their expected lifespan?

hw does it come? anything special bout their genes, or something. I know that the bigget the dog the shorter its life, but 4 up to 8 years is shortest Ive heard so far

I learned my blood pressure is slightly elevated again so the doc is trying some new meds. At the same time, I've lost 9 pounds since my physical in May, for a total of 26 pounds lost since this time last year.

well they are extremely large, have a high risk to get bone cancer and something else dogs with a large chest often get (i can't remember the name now)
