acting weird how? have you never noticed that I AM weird?

SYRFox 09.10.2008 01:09 PM

Hyperstation.
Everything in that part is perfect.

The transition from The Wonder to Hyperstation is great, and the way the song emerges from the chaos is fantastic. I really have weird pictures in my head when I hear this (like a castle in the clouds or whatever - yeah yeah)

PAULYBEE2656 09.10.2008 01:19 PM

hyperstation........

but they all work perfectly together in a true epic rock way!

█████████ 09.10.2008 01:38 PM

weird is good.
what's with the sudden fun, love and games, that's all i was wondering.

HYPERSTATION.
one of the best parts on DDN
" Smashed-up against a car at three A.M." is one of my favourite parts in music history :)

Sonic Youth 37 09.11.2008 08:01 AM

Hyperstation

pedestrian 09.11.2008 09:07 AM

...jumping on the bandwagon here. Hyperstation. I just think it's sort of a defining moment in SY history. The whole trilogy is fantastic, but Hyperstation is what really cements it into my conscious. But that's just my opinion.

Derek 09.11.2008 05:11 PM

The Wonder.

This Is Not Here 09.11.2008 05:21 PM

Does anyone else feel Eliminator Jr doesn't REALLY fit in the trilogy?.... I mean, I fucking love the track, but Wonder and Hyperstation merge so rediculously perfectly that E.Jr just seems shoved on the end there a bit. If I was SY, which sadly I am not, E.Jr would be at the START of the album, and the album would end, cutting short on the words "Daydreaming Days In A Daydream Nation".

I can't quite beleive I'm telling SY how they should have made the GREATEST ALBUM EVER. I am quite the cunt sometimes. But alas, that is my view.

al shabbray 09.11.2008 05:26 PM

I agree.
its always kinda the wake up call for the end of the album. and I cant decide if thats good or not.

Derek 09.11.2008 05:27 PM

Eliminator Jr. is my least favourite part of the album.

al shabbray 09.11.2008 05:30 PM

^^^I agree to that two, but live its nice

Andrés 09.19.2008 09:51 AM

Hyperstation

al shabbray 09.19.2008 11:43 AM

adjectives-ex 09.19.2008 12:33 PM

the wonder

[Sandbag] 09.30.2008 09:10 PM

hyperstation!

Dead-Air 09.30.2008 10:59 PM

I've always thought the Trilogy was really only 2 songs. "The Wonder/Hyperstation" and "Eliminator Jr." The first part, I can't even think of as separately enough to say one half over the other, it's one damn song dammit! I've always liked the first part more, but it breaks cleanly into the "Eliminator Jr." clean up spree, so I think it's effective and a good way to end. Not as good as ending on "Death Valley '69" on the original LP version of Bad Moon, but still decently strong.
