I havent smoked pot for about 5 or 6 years now. and I am thinkin bout smokin it again, not in such a rate, but from time to time. one reason is insomnia. I cant get to sleep like normal since a few weeks. shoud I smoke the shit again?

he was going through a bigtime midlife crisis a couple years ago too. he used to always visit me at my college and try and party with my friends. on my 19th birthday he bought an 8ball of coke and actually did it with me and my buddies, he was sick for like three weeks, haha. no wonder his marriage with mom is a disaster.

i actually read some study that showed that parents who smoke small amounts of pot daily's kids are more likely to show interest in thing like reading and learning, as well as being more socially adjusted. the reason for this was the stoned parents are more likely to play with and read to thier kids. not so sure i buy this, because theres some people who get stoned and like to do things, like me, and theres others who just become dull lazy bores.

i watched smiley face last night and while it was a bit overbearing with a "message", i have to say i know people like that!!

you don't need parents who smoke pot, you need parents who can remember to pay the bills on time & pick you up and drop you off at the appointed time and who are not in jail or too broke handling money to their dope dealer they could use in your college fund.

in fairness.. smoking pot/weed/ganja/marijuana/ blow/dope/the good shoit/ black gold/ texas tea/ channel186/ stupidjuice/ shiter log/ gods testicles or whatever you wanna call it... is pretty crappy if smoked in front of kids. actually smoking in general in front of kids is pretty shitty. i smoke pot, ive smoked it since i was 15, thats 13 years ago. i smoke it generally every day, not much, i still can actually do shit and i have never said "maaan" or "grooovey" or watched cheech and chong or listened to the whire album backwards or wear tye dye or drive a clappe dout volkswagen van!!!

i wouldnt smoke when my 2 kids are around, i wait til they are gone to bed and then have a couple.. not wasted because you have responsibilities and i can handle bioth my life and my activities and still carry out my responsiblities like an adult with a steady job and a house to look after...... so why then should i be hated... its a pretty broad brush you are tarring people with... i reckon the parents who go to the pub after work, drink a skinful and then come home pissed and take it out on the liitle ones and beat the wife are the ones you should be directing your hate to....

and also why 13 years old... surely the kids are morre influenced by their parents at that age when it comes to behaivoural things and habitual things.... monkey see monkey do as they say but at 13 they have the capability of thinking for themselves and making constructive desicions regarding their environment and behaiviour moreso than a child of 2 or 3 or 4.

Seriously, I think it's an adult undertaking, just like drinking. Pot doesn't belong in the hands of minors. It's neither healthy nor safe when your body is young and your behavior is immature.

i'm inclined to agree because i did some really stupid shit when i was like 15
but so does everyone, and you can't possibly expect a 15 or 16 year old kid to behave maturely or responsibly, at least not all the time. that's just unrealisting (in most cases)
