Question for Board Members with music webpages
 

Hi everyone, I am Rob Instigator, formerly known as cheeto55.

I have started a new Blog called -FUPPETS- and I have a section called "fuppets for your ears" consissting of links to various music websites. I looked through the forum and member's lists to try and find everyone's band pages, or music pages, or music blogs, etc. but it was very time consuming. I managed to find quite a few though.

I want this music section to ONLY consist of bands and projects and music related websites run by, created by, or whose music is by sonic forum board members.

If you look through and do not see your website listed under "fuppets for your ears" would you please reply here or send me a PM with the URL for your music/band/music reviews/music blog sites?

i'm not. i just want to rock and roll and not in a lame way, i don't want to sit there and bullshit myself with an acoustic guitar and flowers in my hair. i'm done being experimental for the sake of being experimental. there will be some degree of experimentalism i'm sure but it's not just going to be stupid hippie shit.

As far as I'm concerned with rock:
It's limited to a small number of instruments (guitar, bass, drums, vocals) and there's only so many chord progressions you can come up with before you're just repeating yourself. It was doomed after 30 or so years and came to a nice end in the 90's. Then post-rock came in as a response.

The future of music is undoubtably in DSP.

really evil rock tinged with a bit of psychedelia and punk and blues. i can't describe it to you.

the runaways are a huge influence.

Save the Kills, the other bands are the primary influences on 95% of bands in the last 30 years. I'm not saying that you can't be original with that, it just doesn't help the point you're trying to make.

That said, I'm sure you'd be able to come up with some pretty interesting stuff, Cantank.
