Live At Stache's DVD
 

In keeping with my usual "why don't they reissue ______________?" posts... I was just thinking, I can't believe Atavistic hasn't released LIVE AT STACHE'S on DVD. I mean, that just seems like an obviously awesome release.

I'd agree, if only I had the chance to watch it and make my own opinion on it :D :D

I'm just saying... Atavistic is an actual label. They put it out... let's start a petition or something.

i have transfered my bootleg video copy to dvd and now to my computer so i can upload somewhere if anyone wants but the quality is not that good

That looks like the quality it always was. I remember seeing the VHS in a record store years and years ago... it was only 9 bucks, and I asked if I could check it out. They put it on a TV set, and I saw the quality and figured it was a lousy bootleg. If I only I had realized!

Do you have any webspace you could upload to? So that it's not rapidshare, megaupload or any of that crap?

What ever happened to the Sonic FTP that was supposed to get set up? I still need to find this, BLOOD ON THE BEACH, PUT BLOOD IN THE MUSIC, and SILVER ROCKETS/COOL THINGS.

the only way i can think to upload this would be either make it a torrent or upload in parts to sendspace or megaupload or some other crap, unless anyone else has another idea

we so need an ftp. I still miss paintbox.

i think the caps in the concert chronology are a little more vibrant than the one posted above, but i could be wrong? (the CC caps are tiny as hell)

Adjusting the brightness/contrast and colour corrections
+ a better audio source could make it worthy of a release.
Doesn't mean I wouldn't want a copy of it though.

Convincing someone to exceed their bandwidth cap, is another story.

Yeah, TOKO. That's what I was thinking. If Atavistic remastered the video, remastered the audio, and added some bonus materials that would be a pretty great DVD release.

Of course, I think Smells Like should do the same with Gila Monster, Blood On The Beach, etc etc.

AND WHY HASNT DGC SIMPLY CHANGED THE REGION CODE TO "1" ON SILVER ROCKETS/KOOL THINGS AND MADE IT A RELEASE IN THE US? WHAT WOULD IT COST THEM? A NICKEL?

do exactly what you were thinking, split the file and upload it to an http server like rapidshare.com or better yet to multiple http servers using mirroring sites like massmirror.com or sharebee.com


then if really necessary i can host the file on a ftp server.

ftps are best for this sort of thing. I think.

I'd much rather have the files, than watch on youtube.

I figure there probably isn't much helping the picture simply because it was recorded on video, which over time unfortunately stretches and falls apart.

I have a copy of Gila Monster. Its actually not too bad of quality. I need to upload that sometime.

i can set it up but it won't be nowhere near as fast or reliable as rapidshare, megaupload or services like that.
