Do you keep a journal?
 

I started two days ago.

I do, I write on it, every couple of months.

Off and on. My life isn't that interesting at the moment, so no journal entries for the past few months.

My entries are half-nonsense/half-parody but with little sprinkled facts about my life thrown in, with the occassional thoughts on the news and shit.

I mostly write about the things I hear and see from people at schoola and overall around. And other times I just write aobut thoughts or cool lines I think of, rather than merely about my day.

Not very linear.

I always have , and they are always in a very frustration ian curtis type , about the bitching between two worlds, a limbo . One that has existed since i was born and what i look forward to until the strong arm wins over the left arm . Pointless and shallow it is for sure .

I have a journal. Some of it is linear, other parts are abstract, some pages are flooded with song concepts and poetry and a good chunk are some rather half-assed short stories.

I like my journal(s).

Dream diaries fuck up my life. I can't explain how, but lucid dreaming is the worst idea ever. I permanently feel like shit during the day, and it's not that great.

I can't do it. It makes reality too confusing and hazy.

I keep a journal. But I only ever write in it if something significant happens. I haven't written in it for about a month.

i have done before and i might do again. usually i use it as a means to clear my head of crap, rather than as documentation of my day to day activities.

I have a livejournal... because my inner 12 year old tells me I have to.

I have a livejournal for my writings, but nothing on my personal life.

I've had a livejournal for five or so years. I like it because it's neat to hear about what I did a year ago on this very day or five years ago, or how my first day of high school was. All my buddies used to have one, but for the past couple years, my friends' page has been pretty empty.

exactly. plus.. i'm highly private.

as far as online journals... i can't think any of my thoughts are actually worth that.

i keep two little moleskine cahiers for writing stuff, but my real honest journal is no longer being used.

Understandable.

I was talking to a teacher, and she was telling me how she went to the beach that weekend and burned all her journals and diaries because her brother had died, and even though he wanted his journals burned, no one did it, and her family was fighting over who got them, or whether they should be destroyed.

My journal will really be just to clear my head, or to get whatever thoughts I need to get down on paper. I won't do it day to day, but whenever I feel I have something worth writing down.

i had one for about six months when i was like 15, it was weird.

i think maybe having one right now would do me good.

well if were gonna count "notes", i have all kinds of notepads & notebooks lying around the house, in my pockets, bike bags, briefcases, the car, the office, etc.

but those are not a "journal", in any shape or form.

That's one crazy diary.

I write for at least 30 minutes every day. Not quite a journal, more some sort of word-monstrosity. I did have a pseudonymous blog for about a month, but I started to hate the person I'd created (she got a lot of divorced males attention), so she died [was deleted].
