I was just thinking about that the other day. They're remaking Ferris Bueller and everyone is freaking out, like they're going to confiscate everyone's copy of the original when the new one comes out. Whatever, they can do what they want. They'll fail, but whatever.

But instead of reusing a 1980's high school plot like Ferris Bueller (which is quite honestly a horribly stupid plot) why don't they reuse 1980's high school style? There's never anything like them anymore because everyone's trying to capture old movies by reusing the plot. That isn't how it works.

these movies were bigger than the 80's. they're serious business.

Not to mention the fact that Richard Edson is in Ferris Bueller. That alone is reason to watch it.

I was born in 1980; so SY EP would have been released when I was 3.

Also, there was this one band from the 80's. Sonic something. I don't know, but they were good.

Yeah, Kim Gordon was also in that pile of shit they called Last Days.

Sonic Youth does not make anything worth watching.

about 95% of the music was shit, the fashion explains itself, and didn't the eighties have like the highest suicide rate?

Yeah, in reference to the above, in America in the 80s, suicide was like the one of the top 5 causes of death.... :(

I think the best music ever came from the 80's.

oh well it's just my opinion. I like music from all decades, but sy is the only band from the eighties that i like.
