No, seriously, folks... I'm getting a haircut Thursday. I've been trying to grow it out a bit over the last several months, and I'm in real danger of encroaching upon comb-over territory. Therefore I'm of a mind to go back to my quasi-buzz look.

I often buzz my own hair but I just recently gave my self a styled "haircut" and it looks pretty good. I have failed in the past though. Nothing but clippers and a little scissor work around the ears.

i cut my hair saturday, i've had oscillating from chin-to-shoulder lenght hair for some 3 or 4 years now and i needed a change.

now it's one eye-level and i'm quite liking it.

At your venerable age I would shave it, but not too short. It looks tidy and it makes you look like you're ready to get into the coffin with dignity.

I dunno. I have about 24 hours yet to make up my mind. Last time I got a "styled" shorter length haircut, and even a month after it's grown out, it doesn't look half bad. I kind of like having a little hair on my head. It's still above my ears and cropped fairly short so it looks neat and everything. Still, a buzz would be low maintenance.
