my socialness over the past two years has kind of gone down to nill.

I can't believe you're actually asking if someone wants advice before you dispense any.

I disowned the ones that suck, and only barely talk to the ones that didnt suck. I havent really made an effort to make new ones in a while.

I dont have a car atm and live pretty far out in suburbia. My bf isnt really teh social type to get excited at going out and doing the things I would like to so I dont go out with him much aside from to the movies or to eat etc etc.

its just kind of snowballed into drearyness.

nothing to do with diplomacy, manners or consideration. just trying to economize my own energies. pearls, swine, etc.

Move to Kentucky Lots of cool people here. I consider myself very fortunate to have the friends I have. I left Florida & all my friends are down there. I didn't think I'd meet cool people out here & all the friends I've made are some of the best people I've met in my life sometimes you just need a change....

I have *1* non-digital friend that I actually talk to, and honestly, as far as digital goes, 1 more I can always count on.

People in general are overrated. Most of them are putzes. There a few notable exceptions--you (phoenix), #$&!!, and Cantankerous, maybe Porky, but that's about it.

No, seriously--don't let it get you down. I've gone through my own lonely stretches. You'll come out of it. In the meantime, you just have to be your own best friend and take care of yourself.

I think a lot of it is to do with feeling as though I have no time left to do meaningful things. Well, meaningful to me.

But there is definately something to be said for actually having somene or a few people you can think of to talk to, about actual interesting things, when yr bored.

wow, this is a topic I was thinking about the whole fucking day. it's a very fragile balance the one we live. I totally understand you phoenix. I can't really say I have no friends but I know the feel. the persons I feel closest to my heart live far away from here (besides my girl, luckily for me). and with recent happenings making me distrust in potential "friends" it's hard to say I'll ever make new friends again.

it all depends on your inner mood tho. try and stay open to new things without having to disclose your soul a lot and ending up with a broken heart.
hard to do you know but I say bonding is always a bit of a dangerous thing. just try and stay entertained, fulfill your dreams in your own special way.
