A decent dark rum is hard to come by round these parts. White rum/ Spiced rum are ok for cocktails, but far from my drink of choice.

Nothing beats whiskey. I really don't care for rum, but I will take it over vodka or tequila. If it is my money, it is whiskey or good beer.
