greenlight 12.23.2007 06:17 PM

i'll now by tomorrow if my workmate has recorded it or not.

greenlight 12.24.2007 08:02 AM

HAVE IT!!!

I just came back from work, havent watched it yet. I need to do some last xmas shopping. My xmas present for you should be torrented by tonight. Hope Purelivegigs is ok with everybody. And hope they'll allow to seed it on their server, if not, fuck it, I'll seed it on Piratebay.org

nicfit 12.24.2007 08:10 AM

mininova is "safe"? aaaah, I'm so happy we'll have the chance to see this in decent quality!
I don't understand why they don't sell full quality video streams rather than shitty compressed stuff, I'd pay to have the video in full quality, but having to pay for it when people in other countries can see it in better quality and store it diredctly from their TV sounds like a rip off....
Thanks in advance for this.

Moshe 12.24.2007 04:01 PM

Thank you greenlight and merry xmas!

greenlight 12.24.2007 04:02 PM

ok. should be working. i managed to upload it on purelivegigs (with maketorrent it doesn't work, they have they're own application for it) finaly. let me know if you have any problems.

for those, who doesn't have account shouldn't be a problem to register (i think they have their registrations open)

last think I have to tell you is that when dad of my workmate was recording it, he was obviously watching a footbal match or smth. like that on the other channel, coz you can hear it in between songs, but it's really quiet. sorry for that It wasn't in my power to change this fact. at least we have it. it's not bad, really. but if somebody would like to have a copy without this little thingy, there's another chance as they REPEAT that show next thursday (comentator saying it while titles in the end)! so go on, do it. I wont ask him again.

oh yeah, if somebody knows how to just make pure SY torrent of it, please do so and upload it!

Cand you help me with linneage info as well. I think I have it wrong/I mean I don't know how to write it. It's a TV broadcast, allright.

neptuneg 12.24.2007 04:04 PM

Thanks so much!!!

ZEROpumpkins 12.25.2007 05:46 AM

You know what someone should record? My T shirt. It says a lot of crazy stuff sometimes. I even think I made a myspace for it. For those who are fellow T shirt enthusiasts, here is a picture of my shirt

Happy scientologist day, xenuians!

It's an VHS to DVD transfer of an analog TV broadcast or Digital Video Broadcast capture?
PM me the info you got about recording and i'll try to make the lineage.
Thanks again, as well:)

PAULYBEE2656 12.26.2007 07:32 AM

i caught pink steam, got home from a meates house and somehow remembered it! had a reminder on it to record it n my sky box but sky are fuckers and havent activated my sky+ yet, almost 2 weeks now, im getting quite annoyed!

raging_nelly 12.26.2007 03:47 PM

Someone youtube it??

nicfit 12.26.2007 03:53 PM

it would be taken out and the uploaders account banned, I suppose.
Anyways, this looks more a vhs-> dvd transfer, methinks.
I wonder how many lucky big ass HD tv owners recorded the HD stream on big ass DVD recorders with big ass hard disks...damn you all :D!

greenlight 12.26.2007 04:10 PM

this is straight dvd transfer! (vhs doesnt exist here in ireland, hehe, maybe in italy). joking. no honestly nobody use vhs. it's all about argos and shit, cheap stuff tho. if you want a better copy off you go find somebody with sky package (via satelite) and do something aobout it and please us (will ya?)!

nicfit 12.26.2007 04:12 PM

aaah! I supposed it was a tape-dvd coz towards the end there's a "glitch" similar to those of good 'ol tapes :P (maybe vlc player went crazy for a moment, I'll recheck it)! p.s. thanks again to you and to your work mate endlessly for this christmas present :) !

greenlight 12.26.2007 04:18 PM

Yeah, my feeling it is that it was recorded from analog (cable) TV broadcast with a direct-burning standalone DVD burner, because of some tiny, little skips specific for direct-burning divices - as Andrei said.

I'd be happy also for some great fucking digital satelite broadcast (or how the...you call it - lossless form?).

greenlight 12.26.2007 04:22 PM

Andrei helped me with lineage and we're assuming that this what it is probably:

Source: PRO#1 | TVB> Phillips Standalone DVD Burner (Unknown Model)

Generation: DVD-R(M)> DVD-R(1) PRO#1 | TVB> Phillips Standalone DVD Burner (Unknown Model)> DVD-R(M)> VIDEO_TS> DVD_R(1)

could be worse, no? lads, they're repeating it tomorrow! so whoever can manage get better source, go on!

I

That's what's i thought at first, but it seems to be more likely a direct burn analog TV broadcast due the small glitches/skips and the standard attributes of this DVD, specific to standalone burners.
I've tried to create an info file that should go something like this (tho it can be wrong):

- Source: PRO#1 | TVB • Phillips Standalone DVD Burner (Unknown Model)
- Generation: DVD-R(M) • DVD-R(1)
- Lineage: (Unknown Professional Gear) • TVB • Phillips Standalone DVD Burner (Unknown Model) • DVD-R(M) • VIDEO_TS • DVD-R(1) ... (if it is burned)
---
- Video: MPEG-2 Video • 352x576 • Display 4:3 • 25 Fps (25|1) • 2130 Kbps (CBR) • ALL
- Audio: Dolby Digital AC-3 • 256 Kbps (CBR) • 48 Khz • 16 Bits • 2 Channels (Stereo)

The audio/video attributes are taken from TMPEGEnc DVD Author 3
