kool thing was recorded at cbgbs one night after chuck d arrived in a red posse van and kim came by from the 6 train. the acoustics are messed up because hilly krystal was cheap that summer and didn't hire a barback.

Great song, and the middle section is awesome!

i love the song but the fact that that guy starts babbling in the middle of the song really ruins it.

If by middle part you mean the Chuck D part, yeah, it's alright. If you mean the part right after, I think everyone likes that section ("When you're a star, I know you'll fix everything"). The variation on the bass is great.

i also like it. i didn't at first, but then my friend eric told me that it was his favorite song by them and i had to appreciate that he liked something by them that i didn't like, but he also liked a lot of the stuff that i really love. so, now we both like it all. smiles.

Oh lord...Guitar Hero I & II fucked up nonguitarists' perception of fretting, and now Guitar Hero III can fuck up their perception of tuning...

The only thing I like about that song and the only reason I listen to is that fucking riff after that talking section of the song, the variation on the main riff. That riff is amazing! You all know what I'm talking about.
