Yeh BMR is a nice dark psychadelic album.

Since the thread title mentioned noise I'm going to champion Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music. 4 tracks of processed feedback, it's a nice hot blast of colourful sound to wash away any bullshit.

UFO is incredible. One of my favorite LPs of all time.
Mani stayed at our house a couple of weeks ago and signed all my Guru Guru LPs. He's still totally got it on the drums too; he was amazing.

yeah UFO is just awesome. But i also have to say that their later stuff is weak.
I still regret buying Fango Tango (or was it called Tango Fango?) for 25€, that record is just .... whatever.
Too many Kraut bands have the "just 2/3 good records" disease. That's sad.

Yeah, I'm not too fond of the "fusion era" Guru Guru either, but UFO, Hinten, Der Elektrolurch, and Kanguru are all great.

for more self-promotion, my doom drone band Robe. is doing a split with the goslings in the future.

I still have to get Hinten and Elektrolurch, but as you said UfO and Kanguru are great. Not just great, they are perfect.

Unfortunately those Lps are fucking expensive, reissues too.

That Live Essen 1970 LP that came out not too long ago is pretty fantastic too. Great sound even!

psych noise, i'd say kemialliset ystävät, avarus, towering breaker, green mist, ashtray navigations, cornucopia, caroliner, sun city girls, no neck blues band, sunburned hand of the man, dylan nyoukis projects like blood stereo and decaer pinga, sunroof!, hototogisu (some), religious knives, smegma, astro (and related band, galax) and double leopards.

I suggest Comets on Fire and Six Organs of Admittance
