I do think I also like Cell Scape better than the new one, but it is really good.

I'm not sure if I can name a favorite but their early material is a great time.

went to see them live last week. they were amazing. but bambi's dilemma in LP form was sold out, so im going to order by mail.


got cellscape cd, which is awesome-- i had the mp3s before & they are crap side by side. oh i got a ton of stuff including agata's solo record on tzadik.

haven't heard the new one yet, charlie is my fave.

Thats the only one i own.

but anyway, the new album is good, it's not anywhere close to being my favorite but even "average" banana is wonderful. i think it ranks somewhere like this:

3. Scratch or Stitch

7. Bambi's Dilemma

i wish they'd record an album that is a reflection of great they are live

I haven't heard all of them, but Scratch or stitch is my fave.
The new one is disappointing, I prefer Cell-scape for the poppier side.

bambis dilemma is a damn fine record tho....

I'll be seeing them july 6th at the independent. Got my ticket purchased and everything.

Nothing to do with this thread, sorry, but i was talking to this mexican guy after work last night, who told me that there is a state in Mexico where it's completely illegal smoking altogether, and cigarettes are not sold at all. Is this true?

yeah, it's some 12 odd hours, there's a road that goes from the city to monterrey in like 5 hours.

i love this city, i wouldn't leave unless some fucked up dictator took over.


i have no idea, might be in a town but a whole state? i doubt it; not in the city though, more than half the people here smoke.

there was a mayor of friendship heights, a maryland suburb of dc, who a few years ago tried to ban smoking completely in the streets. 3 months later, i kid you not, he was busted for child stalking or molestation, not sure exactly what.
