I'm gonna have to go with Dylan though Lou Reed was a very close second. I only picked Dylan over him because Reed as influenced by Dylan a bit.

Granted, I prefer the music of Lou Reed, Iggy Pop, over that of Johnny Cash, Johnny Cash is the better song writer of the group.

not because he's necessarily "the best" but because i like him better than the rest.

i know bob dylan is good & important but i just don't like his genre. really can't stand it ha ha ha.
