Copies are for sale in Probe Records in Liverpool for about £14. They may do orders..

£14 is a bit expensive when you have to pay like £2.50 shipping too, While I'm on this subject does anyone know where I can get a copy of the destroyed room on vinyl too....excuse my laziness of not actually finding out myself.

My friends in London tell me its cheaper to mail order from the US even with postage than to go down to a local store.

Often it is, yes - especially with the $/£ exchange rate being as it is at the moment.

I bought 3 records from Ecstatic Peace and the total was less than 30 quid including postage. Way cheaper than waiting for Volcanic Tongue to get them in.

oh fuck...in my shity country a Micahael Jackson CD (not vinyl... you can't find this "fucked up-old" format) is like 15 Pounds... I'll pay for a Sonic Youth record 25 only to avoid internet orders
(when i'm buying from SY's on-line store, for 4 vinyls i'll pay double:(...not to mention the dead shipping time ...amost a mounth)... I think you guys should be happy for living in pretty nice countries...

seriously, almost all import CD's from here are like 15 Pounds... and the most radical albums that you can find are Nirvana albums (which is not a rare thing at all)... it's a pretty fucked-up thing, so that's why i gladly pay 25 for a Sonic vinyl... (by the way...i found a Beatles 2LP set and it was aprox 30Punds). It sounds crazy and sad, but from a medium salary you can buy 4 vinyls... and starve all mounth:)... that's why i think you guys should be happy to live in decent countries:)

Sonic Nurse is Sonic Youth's greatest 00's album. Some people will argue that title goes to Murray Street but they are clearly wrong

The Destroyed Room is really not worth buying unless of course you're a completist like me.
