I've been playing Lust for life a lot lately. I had the chance to see him live 2 times but due severe lack of money I couldn't go.

I first saw Iggy in 1998.. I don't know how many times I've seen him since then. A lot, though. His best shows by far were the ones he did for his Avenue B record and the more recent Stooges reunion shows.

well, for your information, i never said "I really like iggy pop", and people are free to start wathever thread they want, and you are free to stay out of the threads you're not interested in. Ok?

Ok? You say this like I'm the first person to comment on stupid threads. It's because of threads like this that interesting threads are bumped back 3 pages in a day. Here's a rule that can help if you are thinking of starting a thread, and you aren't sure if you should or not: If, when you begin the thread, the most you yourself are able to say on the subject is "...", maybe you shouldn't bother.

Especially threads about tedious has-beens like Iggy Pop.

Coming from a guy that started threads just to say that Ac/Dc and Malkmus suck that's very enlightening :) . But anyway, seriously, I don't want to start an "internet fight", I'm just sick of people complaining for the lack of interesting threads, just search for the ones you like/ you're interested in!

I apologize if I'm coming off the wrong way, I've just spent too much time lately with people who talk about music just for the sake of gaining aproval of people around them. I'm not saying that anyone here is doing that, but after hearing it so much lately, I just snapped. Sorry :) If it means anything, this is the extent of me "snapping," so this is the worst you will ever see from me...

heh, I apologize too if i was rude, I'm on the verge of a nervous breakdown, uploading more than 1GB of that damn sonic youth live gig is just killing my neurons, and searching for some funny iggy pics was a breath of fresh air for my brain...peace?peace.

Eh, it's probably to promote their new stuff anyways... not saying they won't throw in some classics of course, but for the most part, I'd say it wouldn't really be a monumental show...
