All sorts. I'm listening to lots of weird music that I've never heard (or heard of) before, I'm looking at all sorts of weird art that I've never seen before (here and elsewhere), I'm reading information about things (weird things) and learning things that I never knew before.

I've had some weird phonecalls, eaten some weird food I'd never tried before and there is a strange smell in this room tht I can't figure out. It's all new.

I'm having many new sensory experiences suddenly. For no apparent reason. Weird night online.

Julie Monaco

In her series of pictures cs_0 Julie Monaco creates an artificial, abstracted reality. Wild and romantic nature is a purely digital creation resulting from a process of computing. It is based on numbers, on numerical code. The image is neither based on specific models such as photographs or scans, nor is it generated on the basis of the real thing. The pictures are created by means of software tools which are defined by several computer programmes in terms of selection and parameters. A three-dimensional model developed that way is visualised by means of rendering, i.e. optically upgraded by computer-aided processes (algorithms).

Although the representation (the computed image) seems diametrically opposed to that which is depicted (nature), there is a specific analogy between the two media: the fractal which links computer technology and nature as the smallest commondenominator.

One of my works has been commissioned to this Micronation/collective in Vienna, Austria.

State of Sabotage
SoS is a secular, sovereign and democratic state.

The formation "Sabotage" was founded by artist Robert Jelinek in the area of the Documenta IX in Kassel in June 1992. Sabotage" began operating in 1992 as a small project and collective, later 1994 as Sabotage Communications- an art organisation and music label, than a union of various sublabels brought together by their shared way of thinking and similar style of expression through different media. Since 1992 more than 100 international "public sabotages" have taken place in form of performances, actions, events and exhibitions. There are a number of flexible subdivisions which emerge as the needs arise and dissolve under their own inertia. Each of the sublabels primarily works within its medium, nevertheless their bonds are firm and fruitful.

CA$H The Scent of Money
Unisex Perfume 50 ML / Eau de Toilette, Since 1998 Idea & design: Robert Jelinek for Sabotage Communications

Yes. CASH is the odour of money. The scent was modelled on a fresh-printed 100 US dollar bill, that had been examined for the essential olfactory components. CASH differs greatly from usual perfumes and offers the nose a completely new experience of smell. CaSH 50ml - Has Become The Air We Breathe.
Ingredients: Mahagony, Metal, Printers ink, Aqua and perfume.

SoS PEST MEDIC
Artist: Robert Jelinek

Where negativity expires, natural catastrophes inscribe an unmistakable mark of violence, a valuable and supernatural sign of negation. The plague quarantine and the failure to appear in court paraphrase the state of emergency: the return of the elemental in its inversion. To defy today’s infections, the SoS pest medics roved the globe on a mission to cleanse it through nasal seduction. The SoS pest medic is also the State grail. Figure made in porcelain
Colour: Black or white
Edition of 10 each. Signed and dated.

BIZEPS SoS Coin Machine

SoS now presents its own currency of the same name. An aluminium coin has been produced as a first edition: 5 SoS (value 5€ / 8 USD / 4 BPD). At the upcoming "Grow Your Own - Micronations" exhibition at the Palais
de Tokyo in Paris, visitors will have the opportunity to purchase "blank" coins and to mint these themselves. The BIZEPS money machine makes it possible to precisely mint the 5 SoS coin with a single hammer
blow.

RALPH STEADMAN
http://www.ralphsteadman.com/

Ralph Steadman has been my idol and one of my all time favorite artists for over two decades now. His work inspires me and it annoys me because while I love it so, I hate it because I feel i could never do art as good as he does. Oh well.
