Things you're starting to get into lately

For me:
-Advanced Web Development
-Marvin Gaye
-The Shaggs
-The Residents
-Scream therapy. This really does work well. I do it all the time now because I'm too shy to just yell at someone to get my anger out. It's mroe addictive than cigarettes.

screamingskull 02.16.2007 12:00 PM

- Swimming. It really clears my mind out.
- George Harrison.
- Nylon Magazine. hard to get in the uk, but i like it.
- Enquirer tabloid magazine. crappy i know, but it's 99p!

Writing long and cranky emails.

truncated 02.16.2007 04:22 PM

You realize that's a slippery slope to myspace blogging.

Savage Clone 02.16.2007 04:28 PM

I'm not too afraid of sliding down that slope.
I tried having a blog for a little while and I haven't signed onto it in months now. I'm just not wired that way I guess.
Plus I have no plans to make a personal myspace page, and won't sully the band ones with my personal baggage...

truncated 02.16.2007 04:31 PM

I'll refrain from commenting, as I'll just end up ranting about myspace, and we've been through that already.

Philosophy (and I'm not biased, Saint Thomas Aquinas to Nietzsche)
Cultural music
Grilling (even though it is a terrible time to be outside grilling, but what the hell, the effort is quite worth it. Everything else I eat, not grilled, pales in comparison)

Prisstina 02.16.2007 04:49 PM

The Milwaukee Bucks. More specifically, Andrew Bogut. Hubba hubba.

youthoftomorrow 02.16.2007 05:13 PM

Scholastic Team.

basically, academic trivia contest between schools. it's totally nerdy but i love it. i actually lettered in it. my team tied for fourth (with our cross-town rivals) in one of our leagues (we're a part of two, one has schools from North Idaho and Eastern Washington and the other has every school in Idaho), but we almost got second (and we actually beat the number one team, we were the only team to do so). regionals are in two weeks. five teams will be competing for two slots in the state tournament (and if, by some miracle, we do well at state, we go to nationals which are in Memphis or something).

luxinterior 02.16.2007 08:55 PM

As if an interest like that should ever go away! Which have you been watching?

As for classic HK martial arts films, a large part of the Shaw Brothers back catalogue has been remastered and put out on dvd in the past few years. They are pretty ace.

There is never a bad time to grill. If I owned a grill and actually had somewhere to put it I'd be grilling right now.

And it's 9 AM.

Everything tastes better grilled. CEREAL tastes better grilled. I would imagine anyways.

When the weather is not accommodating for grilling, it's even better. Because you weathered the storm, fought all obstacles, to get those pefect little lines on your juicy top sirloin.

I don't know, maybe it's a man thing.

Green_mind 09.10.2007 06:05 PM

I've being getting into playing a lot of poker games with my friends, I'm getting quite good, though my mum beat me last night, beginners luck dammit.
Into kalideoscopes at the moment too, planning to make a few different designs. A square one would be cool I'm thinking, may be even incorperate some running water.

It means the same thing here. I'm not into that stuff though.
