I liked shoot em up. very funny. I would give it a 3.5 out of 5. like a crazy comic on the screen

ALIEN ANAL 10.23.2008 08:45 AM

Puberty Blues

funny aussie movie about teenagers

atsonicpark 10.24.2008 06:00 AM

behind the mask: The rise of leslie vernon - 6/10

ozone (street zombies) - 8/10

wise guys - 7/10

noisereductions 10.24.2008 07:25 AM

I'd give BEHIND THE MASK a 7 possibly. I liked it a lot.

OZONE I had and sold at a yardsale without watching. It's good?? weird. It looked so bad.

atsonicpark 10.24.2008 07:32 AM

yeah, it's fucking great! Exploding heads, ridiculous pus blood explosions, people turning into zombies before your eyes with the cheapest effects ever. It's by the guy who made the dead next door, one of my favorite horror films.

I liked Behind the Mask, it's a bit too cheesy but it was clever... though I am not a big fan of the "documentary-horror" films, especially after films like Man Bites Dog (which isn't horror, I'm just saying..), Cannibal Holocaust, and even the Last Horror Movie did it before and more cleverly...

atsonicpark 10.24.2008 07:32 AM

anyway, I just watched the black dahlia... Brian DePalma's a great director. This film sucks though. 3/10.

gmku 10.24.2008 07:33 AM

To Catch a Thief (Hitchcock)

Rob Instigator 10.24.2008 08:46 AM

black dahlia did suck!!! I am glad I am not alone in thinking this.

Hitchcock did like 8 classic fucking movies all in a row. has anyone else even come close?

I guess I have a soft spot for it because it focuses on the slasher genre, which as you know... I heart big time.

fugazifan 10.24.2008 10:25 PM

dont look now
great/freaky ending. its not as good as bad timing though.

Entertaining... didn't realize the film was basically a comedy. But uh I think I'd just rather watch Hard Boiled if I want ridiculous over the top action movies.. (that are great)

it has clive owen, so automatically, a ten out of ten for me. and paul giamatti. so eleven.

TNMT, the first one, is my favorite. It's so dark.. and Sid Vicious!

al shabbray 10.25.2008 07:09 AM

yes from an objective view I have to say its the best especially for a child film and the darkness etc. but it scared me as a child, so another run for nostalgia, hahaha
I have to see that again.
but I have to fight myself through the blade runner 5 disc final cut somewhat superior edition, really looking forward to that

atsonicpark 10.25.2008 07:22 AM

and they say "DAMN!" in it, like 3 times!

atsonicpark 10.25.2008 07:23 AM

...and "Bitchin'!"

This is my favorite one of the original trilogy. I recently got the new TMNT movie, but havent watched it yet.

MellySingsDoom 10.25.2008 08:58 AM

Hammer's "The Reptile" - good classics horror nonsense fro mthe early 1960's.

noisereductions 10.25.2008 09:38 AM

6/10

Torn Curtain 10.25.2008 11:50 AM

Joy Division (the Grant Gee documentary)

Great. Don't get turned off by the (really) ugly DVD cover.

Sonic Youth 37 10.25.2008 04:09 PM

TMNT II again.

Alex's Trip 10.25.2008 04:46 PM

Shit, I need to watch the first one. I just downloaded Secret of the Ooze off Soulseek because someone has my VHS copies of all 3 and we haven't hung out to watch them yet and I don't have a VCR.

nicfit 10.25.2008 05:24 PM

pineapple express..... 5/10 , pretty lame, james franco is great, the story is a sort of lebowski meets hudson hawk wannabee, and FAILS pretty much on all the line. except for one thing, which I liked and won't disclose not to ruin the plot for those who want to see it.

the Rocker 4-10
a couple nice scenes, an overall LAME flick (even by "pure entertainment movie" standards), not even emma couldn manage to bring it up (ha ha) to a 6.

I need some nice and funny movies. The last one I really liked was Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

al shabbray 10.25.2008 05:28 PM

blade runner final cut

like tha version, still not sure which is y favourite will see the others soon again. but the restored higher resolutiom is just kickin some ass. looks astonishing

Derek 10.26.2008 01:19 PM

That is a great video, really documents the band's energy.

My mum got me it for my 10th birthday and I think I watched it everyday for about a year haha.
