I have like three friends, and I only talk to one on the phone, the others on myspace.

I have 9-11 very close friends that I ahve known for at least 18 years and 4-5 of those I have known since age 8. (I am 34 now)

I am very very lucky, since my best friends are two brothers who my younger bro knew in 1st grade and we moved in next to their house, by pure chance, when I was in 3rd grade. I have known my friends for my entire life almost.

again, I am very very lucky, but it always weirds me out when I see people on TV and they are talking aboutsomeone, and they say "yeah, we are really close, i have known him for 8 months."

i honestly have a pretty good group of friends (although i don't have my bff anymore... for the best though) and a very large group of friendly aquaintances. i make friends very very easily. in fact, i even won over the one-armed lesbian at the fast food restaurant.

if you're my friend... you are really really my friend. but on the flipside... if shit goes wrong... i'll probably hate you until the end of time.

that is really truly fucking badass. and speaks volumes about the type of people you are and your loyalty.

we all have a running joke, thaat if anything happens to one of the 4 of us with extensive record collections, the other three will strive to be the first to go to their home and steal their good shit.

hey phoenix, I'm not saying this to inflate anyone's ego but this is probably the situation because I'm assuming you're intelligent and have a bit unique taste and this is not the norm, most people are kind of daft and like what is popular and their lives revolve around stuff like being hot etc. I can't relate to most people either, I have a problem with this on a daily basis and have found that this hasn't changed throughout my life. Living in the suburbs might not be helping your plight though, I have decided recently that I need to move closer to the city but that's more to do with me not wanting to drive for half an hour each way just to see a band.

I dont think I'm super smart, in fact when I meet new people I make an effort to try and remain calm and not expect too much. Though within five minutes Im usually wondering why Im still talking to them and how they can possibly still be breathing..

My tastes are... different yeh. Im also a bit weird so its usually either that people are freaked out or that Im too quiet (because I know if I say something its going to be insulting or they wont understand it)

i have no friends left in this town, but one and he's one of my best friends, so it's not too bad. sometimes i wish my friends haven't moved on to other things or they lived closer. most of them are in nyc or st petersburg (which is only an hour drive). well, i'll be moving to nyc in 3 months so i guess my depression will be gone, hopefully, at that time.
