whats the name of the activator guy you went to and how many times did you go?
you know it'll likely take more than one visit right? |
Is the activator method the one where they bring in the energy crystals?

![]() u guys sure are close-minded for being "far-out-avant-music-people-and-vegetarians" . i bet you all pay to go get vaccinated too, don't you? |
dr. lim on broadway. about five or six times. why are you trying to fucking prove me wrong on this (and failing)? i'm the one suffering, okay? i'm contented to take my fucking pills, i'm not hurting anyone, leave me alone.

but that's from taking it ALL the time. every day. massive doses. taping the dosage down helps prevent system shock from the steroids. it'll fix yr nerve pain though. but hey, do watcha want. it's no skin off my back (or hands). |
that stuff is so evil.

ok. do what you want. i'm sorry it didn't work for you. i found 4 other guys in manhattan who do activator and obviously, i have never been to them... its impossible to tell how good a doctor is without having been treated by them.... but it does work. chiropractic is an ongoing thing though. its like taking your car in to mechanics regularly for maintenance. the better you treat your car's engine, the longer it lasts. same with chiroprac and yr spine. i've never been vaccinated. i've never been to a "doctor" ... obviously i'm lucky, but i'm not the only one. and who knows how many conditions i'd have if i hadn't been raised in chiropractic/nutrition. |
i'm just saying i know what works for me and yeah people shouldn't take pills if they don't need them and run to the doctor if they have a splinter, but i don't do that, i never ever go to the doctor unless i absolutely have to in order to get more pills which i do need or else i would be in such severe pain that i wanted to kill myself. i don't want to be a drug addict for the rest of my life but that's just the way it is.

its just fucking ridiculous to even think that would work. there is a physical problem here.
but when youre desperate for relief you will do anything i suppose. |

chiro can fix most things. obviously not cancer or major heart conditions or aids or male pattern baldness... but most things, yes. |
 hippie
|
lol, i guess.
you can all come over and check my pulse, do whatever you want. i'm healthy and i don't get vaccinated. deal with it. you're all stronger than u think. cept for those of you with cancer, you should get help. just the other day, i went to a dermotologist for the first time, to get a mole checked out, and when there were 2 whole pages of space for me to list my medications and allergies and stuff, i lol'd and wrote "none" at the top in real small letters, handed it back to the secretary and she looked at me like i was a dickhead. its like i have to be sorry for being healthy/normal |
yeah people look at you like youre crazy if you dont take anything.
i never get sick. i have a lil smokers cough. i can count the times in my life ive been really sick on one hand. |
Quote:
You sound like you're either being paranoid or a showoff about it. I don't take any medications either and I don't make a big deal out of it. |
dave you do kinda go on about it like HOLY FUCK I AM SO REMARKABLE
|
i'm the same.
i've gotten weird reactions before... like my feet got sunburned once and they got swollen real bad for 3 days. then i had a weird neck rash once for like a week [it looked terrible and itched horribly]... and i had these bubbly pus-filled boils on my right forearm but i'm pretty sure those were from a poisonous plant in costa rica. [occurred 2 weeks after i got back tho]. and i do sneeze and get cloggy nose sometimes when its real dusty or if people don't clean up their pet hair.... but that's pretty normal and it really doesn't affect me much |
Quote:
nope. just when people start bashing chiro. |

the way i worded it made it sound like that i guess. i didn't write "none" in real small letters on purpose, that's just how i write. |
i have plenty of physical flaws guys. just not of the sickly variety.
getting a cold is interesting though... i only get a cold like once a year or so. when i do it lasts at least a week though. i cough up tons of flem and it goes through different degrees of flem... when its weak light flem i know i've prolly got at least a few days left. once i'm not coughing much, and its just the once-in-a-while hard cough with a nice dark/malty flem, then i'm good in a day or 2. |
Only one person in this thread bashed on on chiros and you weren't even talking to them. We all know they can do great work, but it's not like their magical magicians who can cure every ailment of the human body. It would be either incredibly stupid or naive to think so. And I know you already said they couldn't cure stuff like cancer... but I don't believe you really think they can cure as much as you appear to be saying.
|
wait who was it, me? because i said it didnt do shit for my condition, im sure they can do wonderful things for people with probs that can be helped by chiropractors.

i do believe it. and i count 2 people bashing it, [fltngslwly and tankersatan, and u as a non-believer]. |
I am anti chiro, as so far as ANY bone manipulation goes. But I guess that's what happens when yr around enough fitness professionals/those in the fitness industry. Core strength, exercising with a trainer who understands YOUR body, and muscular massage do a lot more for preventing nervous and spinal problems than any chiro ever could.
|
r u srs? fitness trainers? you choose people with 2-year degrees over people who do 4 years of uni and then 4 years of chiro school?
|
its like the damn middle ages in here.
|
I agree.

No, I choose people with over 30 yrs experience in helping people recover from injuries and maintain their bodies.. people with MS, people who are severely autistic, people who are paraplegic, people who have weight problems, people who have had various joint reconstructions. How exactly could a chiro help even half of those types of people? It's all very well to say "well the chiro helps me stay fit and I've never been sick". Perhaps you are of the minority of people who would not ever get sick IN THE FIRST PLACE. The real test is when someone HAS an illness or injury, what works to help them recover? What can prevent it from happening again? At the elite sports institute my partner's sister is attending, they have full access to GP, physio, massage, psychologist, dietician.. but no chiro. funny that. Her whole LIFE and STUDY is about keeping her body at peak performace. You can sit there on yr ass and talk about how healthy you are and how the chiro is fabulous, but if you've never had a severe injury, and you are not someone who works in the health industry or understand it, you don't have a clue. |

it is funny. people are so fucking stupid, i don't even know what to do anymore. massage is the apple sauce to chiropactic's filet mignon |
dave.....
shut up. |
oh my god.
despite all the shit thats been said on this forum. this topic has actually made me the most dumbstruck/angry. FITNESS INSTRUCTORS!!! LIKE< PEOPLE AT THE YMCA. OMGGGGGG |
No really, I'd LOVE for you to tell me how a chiro would go about treating someone with MS or severe autism. :)
