So many beautiful places, so little stowaway space...

I was merely referring to the fragrance in my former home town : waffles, passion fruit ice cream...
In the town where I type all this from, no smell, nada. By the end of spring, sometimes, when the wind blew, we could choke on the stench of sugar beet but the owner sold the factory.

Any specific fragrances in your towns?

the picture is not taken from an island (although there is an island in the middle, the "Birds' Isle"), but from one side of the bay to the other - you can see on the other side what used to be the highest dune in Europe (until they apparently discovered there was a higher dune in Lithuania... if i remember correctly...)

More about Arcachon, its sandy beaches where the bored youngsters from Bordeaux cross British tourists, its aquarium, its casinos, beautiful and oh-so-expensive houses, its right wing old widows...

There's a nice vast park there, where a tall thin iron tower stands and shakes a lot when you walk to the top to take a picture :

That ain't Atari. That's me.

yes, that belvedere is great... i went there once while a tempest was approaching, and it was quite scary to walk up the stairs...

it's strange to see Nancy associated with passion fruit!... i guess i didn't notice that fragrance in the pépinière while i was there...

Our hometown is similar to one large overpopulated methlab. Nothing happening just lots and lots of white trash and drugs.

I LOVE IT
