Green days first two albums are amazing. Dookie and Nimrod are OK and the rest are crap.

I never understood the comparison between Bug and Beyond.

Bug was a straddling of old Dino (Let It Ride, Yeah We Know, Budge, No Bones) and post-Barlow Dino (Pond Song, Keep The Glove). Hell, even The Post is cut right down the middle with gloom and then picks up like something off of Green Mind. It's the charm that made the album so great in the first place.

But Beyond sounds more like post-Barlow Dinosaur with more power chords and two Barlow tunes. I Got Lost and Pick Me Up are the biggest give aways of this. Ultimately, this makes perfect sense for where they're at. Latter day Dinosaur Jr with the heavy turned up.

Sorry, I'm ranting about Dinosaur Jr when most of you don't care. But saying Beyond belongs in 1990 just doesn't make sense.
