tp, you should try some HDR experiments, I bet you could have nice results with your camera.
very nice long exposures up there!

i have played around with hdr, but i'm not a huge fan, it some what lessens then experience of taking photos for me. i'd like to learn my camera inside out and get better with my composition more than anything. hdr can be a bit of fun though.

what sort of filtering? ones that emulate camera type filters or fun ones to screw with the image alot???

i use a way old version of photoshop. ps7. and i don't play with it much mostly use it for resizing, unless i'm doing a poster or something for friends. i pretty much just use the standard plugs that are in ps7.

I used to have that, and played with it a bit, but now I can't find the cd anywhere. Any software that allows the colours to be layered in nice chromatic tones will do. Thanks, and thank you too nicfit.

I got lost when I took this.

i dont use a remote cos i don't have one, just a tripod and my camera, 50mm prime lens, uv filter and polarising filter (just cos i couldnt be bothered taking it off, cos it really has no effect at night)

The thing is my camera has no way of locking itself for long exposures. Also I move too much, I can't hold myself steady.

phoenix 05.05.2009 04:31 AM

slavo the cat pic is so cute!

TP love your long exposures. Is it port arthur?

these are crappy phone pics, I will take some better ones when boyshape gets home with the camera.. but the river view out my balcony at the moment;
