My God, really? It was a few years ago now. I used to be on a Yahoo group for them, I was genuinely very sad for a while. ATR were probably the most important group for the teenage me. They're as important to me, personally, as when people talk about the 'revolution' of punk or Public Enemy or the Velvets. Saved me from being a miserable, self-indulgent wanker as a teenager and started my interest in politics and non-apathy. I went very actively heavy left from a fairly young age because of them. I've recinded on the politics, but I maintain their importance, in spite of the possible hipocrisy.

He died of an overdose of prescription drugs I believe. Crack's Black Ark, if you don't have it, is an oft-neglected masterpiece.

If you're in I'm out... Yeah. I still love first-wave DHR. The second wave was dodgy in parts, although Lolita Storm were fucking ace. Third-wave got a bit to close to Reznor for my liking, but Empire's solo stuff still beats 99.825% of known electronica.

porkmarras 08.04.2006 04:56 AM

I shall upload some stuff for the ladies at one point.

porkmarras 08.04.2006 04:57 AM
