well, not really.

noisereductions 06.22.2012 11:35 AM

so wait louder, these are like legit mixes? Not just a playlist but I mean like you blended them etc? If so I'll check them out.

louder 06.22.2012 11:39 AM

oh no heh, just playlists i compiled in a few mins.

noisereductions 06.22.2012 11:52 AM

oh oh oh was confused cuz you mentioned DJ'ing.

louder 06.22.2012 12:07 PM

yeah, figured so. anyway as i've said before, Life Is Good is my most anticipated album in a long time. seems like it's gonna be a lot more introspective than his last few projects, plus most of it is produced by No I.D. and he and Nas make such a great combo.

noisereductions 06.22.2012 12:36 PM

listened to pretty much MF Doom's whole discography today.

louder 06.24.2012 12:29 AM

Born Like This was amazing if you ask me.

noisereductions 06.24.2012 08:53 AM

I thought Born Like This was excellent. Not sure if I'd say 'amazing' but it was one of my favorite albums that year. 'Fucking awesome' might be a better description.

I just miss the days of Doom when he'd drop 3 albums a year haha.

louder 06.25.2012 01:11 AM

Jay, Nas, DOOM, Ghost. sometimes the order changes, but those are always my favs.

American Gangster might be Jay's best project ever, period (though my fav Jay songs happen to be from other albums).

i'm just always scared to admit.

noisereductions 06.25.2012 08:33 PM

American Gangster has to be my fav Jay album. Yeah.

Anyway, back on my Ghostface kick.

no word on noisereductions raptastic bistro however having spent an evening with viewtiful, it's clear to me that his taco wagon has great potential.

lol at old men's rap

there's nothing more pathetic than delusional snooties who think they listen to "real raps", while in reality it's just basic flows and lyrics over dusty, outdated beats. see: most 80's hip-hop.

you're really going to discount an entire decade of hip hop just like that huh
