That's a very fine cheese list, if I may say so.

Good to see a mention for Lancashire. The finest Lancashire is the finest cheese, in my opinion.

king_buzzo 11.23.2006 02:13 PM

im eatying mac and cheese right now

Hip Priest 11.23.2006 02:17 PM

I'll be having a cheddar and piccalilly sandwich later, I think.

jon boy 11.23.2006 02:20 PM

fried halume is about one of the best things that can heppen. i also like feta ina nice salad or pastry.

Hip Priest 11.23.2006 02:22 PM

Have I mentioned Waterfields' Feta and Spinach pasties? Of the best uses for 90p that I've ever found.

You know, jonboy, I had some vague idea that you were vegan.

jon boy 11.23.2006 02:24 PM

vege but not vegan. i am not a self righteous vege either.

lucyrulesok 11.23.2006 02:29 PM

I got upset about eating meat because I allowed a pigeon to die today, and I got quite upset and then I realised that chickens die because of me all the time....
I am practically veggie though...

Cool. I just had it in my head that it was otherwise...

Cool again. There's quite a few veggies on the board, myself included.

jon boy 11.23.2006 02:41 PM

lets start a faction. it will be an extremist group and we can meet up at the local pub every thursday for affirmative action and a nice pint of foaming nut brown ale.

Hip Priest 11.23.2006 02:43 PM

As long as there's no management committee. Management committees are the potential ruination of groups like that.

lucyrulesok 11.23.2006 02:43 PM

Actually if you're a strict veggie there's loads of booze you can't have, 'cause they use fish spleen in the fermenting process or something.

jon boy 11.23.2006 02:45 PM

they do its true. no one believes me about this.

Hip Priest 11.23.2006 02:48 PM

The fish bits are filtered out during the process, so there's no animal stuff in the actual end product.

lucyrulesok 11.23.2006 02:50 PM

YES BUT FISH DIE!

Actually, of you go by that principle then veggies can't drink much milk, as unless you are buying organic, the calves are taken away from the mummy cows so they produce more milk, and then they're turned into veal.

Hip Priest 11.23.2006 02:54 PM

The fish deaths are stil a sad thing, I agree. I avoid the fishy beer.

I only buy organic dairy produce; it's usually free range in effect too, and it tastes a little better.
