My two cents: I use 'queer' as a catchall, which especially saves on the (ever-changing) acronym. That said, I'll say that I'm one of the gays whenever I'm being really informal.

Since I'm young and don't have the experience of queer being a slur, I have no problems with using it.

I'm pretty sure r.e. my sexuality: I'm definitely bi (I'd potentially date anyone, which people are nowadays calling pansexual, but I can't relate to that label). Gender is where the debate's at, but I'm going with non-binary at the moment - that feels least wrong to me.

Pride weekend in columbus Ohio! Surprisingly it is the third biggest pride event in the country after NYC and LA.

3 days of marches, parades, festivals, dances, and the list goes on.

Friday was a march specifically for trans and non-binary people. Every speech was moving and empowering. I had the biggest smile on my face the entire march. There were more people than I expected. All along the route people clapped, cheered and honked.

Earlier in the day I had my first consultation with my reassignment surgeon. Went great. I think I decided which procedure I want. I might be able to get started in six months!

I got the best haircut of my life. Never walked out of a salon happy before.

My rabbi gave another shout out to the community. I'm getting addicted to that place.

Happiest day of my life!
