The reason why it's popularity has grown so much in the UK (particularly North England) is that it's cheaper than ever; the reason why it's so cheap is that it's rubbish... you don't get a feeling of euphoria from it (like with the good stuff), just an increased heartbeat, anxiety and nervousness. Things do seem heightened but not in a fun way. It's so impure: what the hell is it?

Nonetheless I have it when offered it, just in case it's good. It rarely is.

I've never even encountered coke here. Apparently the stuff around here is weak and expensive so people use amphetamine instead, which I have never encountered either.

I'd possibly be interested in trying cocaine, but I'd most likely od or have a heart attack or something.

ok my opinion, i think u will hate me cause i was, and i'm still taking cocain. i was addicted now i'm taking it once per week lets say :). i will not give u a story of my life cause is to long and boering but :
1 cocain is the most natural from hard drugs. it's not a question but a fact !!!
2 it's giving u chemical happienes for some time and i dont give a fuck it's not real happienes. if u don't have what u like u like what u have

Anyway, coke? S'alright on occasion, but I''ll never get the big hoo-ha about it and believe me, I've tried. I'm an inverted drug-snob really - prefer speed to coke, hash to skunk and (good) pills to MDMA. Good on the wallet if nowt else.

Main problem I have is the cocaine politics that are instantly in play as soon as it appears - someone's chopping lines out in the corner of a room, and whether they want to or not, everyone else in that room is then eyeing up the situation and mentally figuring how they can best get in line for a blast...

Cocaine is lame... I've only taken it a couple of times, and by all accounts the stuff I took was not good, but I did NOT enjoy it at all and wouldn't fo it again. It turns people into COMPLETE dicks.
I have been in a situation where I was completely abandoned by a friend in pursuit of coke, then he ended up phoning me in tears at 8 in the morning having not slept, after phoning his parents and telling them he needed therapy.
Said friend now has serious problems with his nose too. NOT GOOD.

It's fucking bad for you too. I can understand the attraction, because it makes you FEEL as though you are smart and witty and funny, but I'd rather be in my own head a have some self-awareness.

worst drug ever period. take it solo, have 10 minute decent at best high, 2 hr miserable comedown. take it with booze, killer hangover. take it with opiates, well, pretty fuckin good. but i hate coke, just a tease of a drug that takes you nowhere.

i agree with those sentiments. the problem with cocaine is you don't realise how damn good it is until 20 minutes later when you NEED more. plus it's a total ego drug which disgusts me to no end. I more of a downer/opiate dude if anything, but, in terms of uppers, I enjoy the odd pill way more than coke

im definitley a downer guy. booze, pot, oxys, vicodin, xanax, codeine, heroin, ambien, clonazepam, i loved all that shit. i got super addicted to opiates and booze though for about a year and a half so i cut those loose, now its only pot.

well, and i cant lie. i drink once a month or so too, and i alwayd end up gettin fucked outa my mind when i do.

i've never tried coke and i wouldn't because of the whole comedown thing, i'd be afraid i'd kill myself because of coming down off a drug.

besides, i have a very high resistance to downers (from my experience with pot and alcohol), i don't know if that makes me susceptible to uppers, never tried any to be honest.

Every now and then I enjoy it, depending also on whose company I am with. I prefer ketamine for christmas, easter etc etc.
