There is an art exhibit opening shortly in Philly with their art - and then a performance - amazingly they posted it on their website in advance.

Fuck, I still haven't got the last one yet.

Gulasch Noir 09.16.2013 03:49 AM

The latest releases of them are all pretty damn good.

peace on venus seemed to be somewhat ignored from where I'm standing, which I found strange given that it's their best in a longgggg time (and I loved the s/t)

yeah.
I blame the whole "underground gone disco" thing.

its easy to miss their releases, and its not like they toured behind it, or there was any radio airplay. I didn't buy it because I didn't like their last release.

Toilet & Bowels 02.03.2014 02:33 PM

Plus they put stuff out all the time, they are a band I've never got bored of and I doubt I ever will, but I'll never keep up with everything they put out.

pad_023 02.03.2014 02:38 PM

I didn't think the ST was that good but Yntra and Peace on Venus were both great. They are still one of my favourite bands but it is hard to keep up.

tesla69 02.04.2014 09:32 AM

Yntra is a good record, the record store day lp from last year was good too.

Gulasch Noir 02.04.2014 10:09 AM

I can honestly say, I like all of their last releases, especially Peri (Silver Pavilion!), Yntra, Rise above it all and Peace on Venus. Also, I'm glad they rereleased Ticket Crystals and their collaboration with Tom Carter 4/23/03 (including the 4/25/03 cd!) on Vinyl.
