purple bumble bee, there were many confusion shirts but are you the melvins fan/ pearl jam hater we were talking too?

No that wasnt me, yeah saw alot of confusion is sex t shirts too. Alot of Sonic Youth t shirts all round, was great to see.
Gig was great, agree with you that they should of been booked to play in one of the tents, but they did push the clouds away on Sunday!

Did anyone happen to tape this? I brought my equipment with me to tape SY & 65daysofstatic but it was raining up until about an hour before SY started so I had put my gear beck in my tent in case it rained again. Open main stage + rain + expensive mics = disaster. I taped 65daysofstatic though and I'll probably upload the recording somewhere when I hit back college again.

Looking forward to that 65dos recording. Oh, I'm sure somebody had the sy gig taped... hopefully...let's just wait a bit with fingers crossed and it will surface, yeah ! sonic optimism.

65 days of static were stunning! i have a couple of albums and hought the new onewas ok, nothin special... i gave them a chance at the picnic and they blew me away!

yeah, live they're really amazing... btw, the new record needs to be listened at HIGH VOLUMES to be heard in all its beauty, it's recorder in a really peculiar way imo, no compression and stuff.

Hello, haven't been around in a while, but I saw SY at EP the other day too. I thought the sound was really poor to begin with, it was far too quiet throughout but on Kim's first song the vocals were so low that I was getting quite annoyed, luckily things soon seemed to get better and I enjoyed myself more.

I was quite surprised that we didn't get Daydream Nation in its entirity, I thought that's what they were doing on every date of this tour, but as it went on it just got better and better. The newer material worked really well live and I've since gone back and relistened to Rather Ripped again. 100% was brilliant and closing with Silver Rocket could only have been beaten by Teenage Riot in my eyes. Got quite a few pictures that I'll stick up soon

Great photos

I enjoyed their set immensely, but like the last three gigs they've played here in 5 years.. limited to an hour. It's got to change.

Nice seeing you again pauly!
