am i the only person who aint bothered by someone purchasing their own Qu'ran and setting fire to it?

When i was a teenager i used to roll my eyes at Marilyn Manson and his stunts, i dont think i should react differently to this just cos theres some political nonsense involved.

We are talking about one religion vs. another. Not an act by a shock rock band (even though there were those that took Manson a bit too seriously).

I'm not religious, but I tend to keep up with things. History shows us (time and time and time again...) that these sort of acts can lead to very unfortunate results....like the two deaths mentioned above. Considering everything currently going on in the world, the actions Mr. Terry Jones was considering should be taken seriously.

As distasteful as I find all of this, I still think it's interesting. One group of people who believe in an invisible guy attacking another group of people who believe in a different sort of invisible guy....it's the shit of science fiction. Entertaining even if sad.
