something odd, for some reason only straight people have ever gotten their panties in a bunch and called me out for saying something is gay.

Some things really are gay. Like Speedo swim trunks, disco mirror balls, and broadway musicals. So gay.

I'm dyslexic and have a really hard time with directions. When I first was driving, my friends would direct me not with word like "right" or "left" but by referring to the name of whoever was on the right/left side of the car. Once, when my mom was sitting with us, it got kinda awkward.

my friends, directing me from the back seat:

"Take a Barbara!"
"No, take a Rachel!"
"What the hell are you talking about? Rachel isn't straight!"
