I flagged his post in your favorite beer topic, specifically his Iranian slur, and added a note to chahib or whomever that this was intolerable and something to the effect that everything I saw from this dude was harrassing. Something like that. I'm sure there have been other complaints, though, no? Surely?

I'm sure there have been, although it also seemed that a lot of people here liked him. I didn't care either way really; the only thing that really bugged me was when I would come into work in the morning, sign on to the board, and see about 20 new threads, all by him, and all without any point except to annoy people. I think he only did that twice though. And other people have done it every now and then, so I can't point directly at him for this annoyance.

Now that's a low blow. There is no appropriate response to that.

Seriously, I can sort of see why that type of trolling might be amusing for a 13 year old who can't find any airplane glue to sniff, but I have no idea why anyone would want to hang out on a message board they thought was so dull that a one trick pony (make that half trick pony!) like that is supposedly livening up.

Eh, he didn't post that often. He posted like 100 messages in 2 or 3 months time. And it was funny. Most of his messages made me laugh, something I can't say for most people's posts, especially with EveryNeurotic not around.... And people on here don't talk about music... or really, ANYTHING... nearly as much as they used to. I know it's just a long dull patch, what with the regular posters not posting as much and stuff, and it's not a big deal. But there was some excitement with western around. Maybe not even the posts themselves, but the drama that came with 'em! Like this thread, hah. I know that may be childish or naive or ridiculous or whatever of me... but personally I was entertained by it and didn't see it to be a big deal whatsoever. Reporting him.. give me a fucking break. Maybe if he posted more often or was harmful to anyone. But how can anyone take the stuff he said seriously? He'd call someone an "idiot" and then in the post make 500 spelling errors in a row. Funny stuff.

I dunno, I just like entertaining things on message boards, no matter where they come from. Sue me.

He posted a bunch yesterday, I think I saw most of his messages. Didn't really seem like anything too bad, just typical "I'm driving a merzedes" and "I'm listening to the more difficult works of Merzbow" and "everyone on here is dumb since they don't like Merzbow and lathes". Man, I'm sure glad he got flagged! Shocking and offensive material indeed!!! Apparently, he made an Iranian slur or something according to gmku on the last page. Never saw that post. Oh... He posted an "essentials" thread for a Merzbow album, and he posted some message asking the board to figure out who he REALLY is. Hah, oh no!!! Not work safe, hide the kids!!

...Personally, a lot of the regular posters on here are more insulting and annoying than western, because at least I know ... or think I know ... that he was joking. Also, he never once spammed anything that I saw, except his, uh, radio show, I guess. I just don't get the big deal here. I didn't agree with everything he said.. or really anything he said, but it was harmless. He wasn't threatening or harming anyone. Whatever.
