I've heard elsewhere they're touring the UK in December... given the bill at ATP, it would be utterly scandalous if they didn't play. The only decent reason I can think of for them not playing is that they'll just make everyone else look shite.

Well, when I asked Dave Nuss if they were playing ATP he said that they weren't, he didn't know that Thurston was curating and said he "doubt they would ever be asked to play ATP". I'm just worried that they'll tour but not play ATP and I will be at ATP when they play their UK dates.

The only thing that pisses me off about the whole atp fest is that even though britain is relatively near, the flight prices relatively low (at the cheapest and with a student discount of some sorts), it's not the holiday season exactly and I'd have enough time to make the plannings for the trip and there must be some kind of cheap accommodation options in london and the atp tickets include rooms during the festival I already know I wont be attending the festival, probably due to unwilling friends and my own inefficiency.
And it's almost sold out by now I presume. |
