hmm. Maybe around the time that I moved. I didn't even have internet connection for a week or two.

role models
lame/10
not funny. and i identified with the douche-y paul rudd character's personality more than i should've, hahaha.

kill bill, volumes 1 and 2
awesome/10
still badass, though i've seen them both approximately ten million times each.

My Bloody Valentine

The best part was the crazy naked blonde in the motel.

Not a bad movie, but the ending was a forced twist that didn't make a whole lot of sense and was just an emo gimmick.

7/10

The funny thing is, when I was watching it, there was a split second where my brain clicked and went "That's somebody's avatar!" I also recognized it from man of the graveyard man.

I agree with you completely, that shot is outstanding. That still image does it no credit whatsoever. It was so surreal, and trippy (brain click included) that I nearly shat myself whilst viewing.

haha yeah i used it for a few episodes of the show too! Very good eye!

I wanted this to be a lot more ridiculous than it was. It was still funny as hell though, and ridiculously gory. Worth the $7 I guess.

Watched the american remake of Shutter last neet. Had some decent creepy moments like but all the while I was thinking how much better the japanese version must be.

Terminator Salvation at the drive in last week. Alright. Disappointing.

I'm bored with Ghost Girls.

Hirokazu Koreeda's 'Nobody Knows'.

Long movie but I've enjoyed it. It's based on a true story, which you can read about on here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nobody_Knows_(2004_film

It's good but like every Tarantino movie, vastly overrated.

Personally I think Pulp Fiction is slightly boring at times but I'm just totally insane and crazy!

joe11121 06.14.2009 03:56 PM

I see. I'll have to check it out,.

Derek 06.14.2009 03:59 PM

Of course, it's worth watching. There's so many classic scenes in it that are almost integral to our popular culture. I always liked the Kill Bill movies better than anything else Tarantino made but I just enjoy samurai movies more than gangster movies.
