Spent the weekend in Katy and on the way home yesterday, I picked up the following:

Three kickass reissues, brand new and shrink wrapped, $10.99.

(Only not on vinyl- yet- just digital. Will buy on vinyl when it makes more sense to do so. Most listening done on iPod these days)

To be completely honest, I've been buying albums like a motherfucker with virtually no regard for expense.

What I'm saying is: it would take an hour to collect pics of all the albums I've purchased since my last post.

But the highlight of the past week has been Botany - Lava Diviner


But I did just ordered this on vinyl: "Vi Ar Alla Guds Slavar" by Thurston Moore and Mats Gustafsson. I'm not sure I knew it existed until today, but I purchaed it immediately.

insanely lush, sweet melodies eclipsed by crushing chaos, grim static capable of summoning the darkest demons, pink drones blissing out in the clouds, crumbling walls of destructive industrial noise, a swarm of stuttering percussion like Pyramids on broken stilts, absolutely massive, beautifully triumphant, & fucking devastating.
