I'm planning on going to New York next year, and was thinking of going around summer time. Is there any time around then where the weather is too hot and humid to tolerate? I turn into a right grumpy sod in that kind of weather, so would far prefer to go when it's a bit cooler but more bearable.

do you have to be à la mode? use an older version.

there's a couple of good gpl software, most notably mozilla's songbird, the "firefox of media players", wich will eventually be very big.
it's still a very early version so it lacks some features and improvements like last.fm support, perfect ipod support and crap like that, but that should be solved with next version that just went out for rc a couple of days ago.

personally i don't use it yet, but i highly recommend it.

Songbird is good, but it's pretty laggy on my computer. Also, it's almost exactly like iTunes, just with plug-ins.

yeah it was made to look like itunes and like i said it's still a very early version, but it already does more than itunes and it doesn't need 10 programs running in the background for it to work.

I uninstalled it pretty quickly, but I'm gonna give it a few months for them to work stuff out and come back to it. I agree it will probably be a great program when given time.

1)What type of dog food do you prefer? My dog (shes about 1 1/2 years old brindle boxer american bulldog. very athletic, and listens to great music. If you are interested, she is single and ready to mingle, and I could put in a good word) will eat pretty much anything, but i can never tell if she enjoys it or not. I like good food, but i dont want to feed her the food i eat because it isnt healthy for dogs.
