yea i went to starbucks yesterday morning at like 5:00 before school, and the employees were opening the boxes and gave me one, a little expensive 16 bucks! i guess its because its starbucks, but overall the album's new song "slow revolution" is good and the rest of the songs are just favorite songs of random asortments of celebs

It's definitely not a good idea to upload an official release here, so I don't think I'm going to do it. If people honestly have no other way of getting the song, I'll give it to them more personally

yep they want to ROCK with the new album. Live the sound was UNBELIEVABLY powerful, the sound engineer they'll "hire" for the recording sessions of this new stuff is amazing (he curated also the live sound for this gig at the mixing desk).

i've been way to obsessed about this to be truly constructive i guess..but i was actually just thinking about it as i was reading posts..it's cashing in..i don't wanna ramble about the monetary vs credibility thing..but from readin that recent sonic youth book though they have had some big windfalls of cash here and there..it doesn't seem like they are rich..better than me..yeah but not madonna or somethin.so i don't know who's cashing in on who...stabucks for putting a bunch of hip names on the cover of a collection that may catch a coffee drinkers eye at the counter.....i don't know this may be too much but i think it has beena slow revolution..and i want to see it come to fruition
