Deftones' Around The Fur has, like, 30 mins in between "MX" and the hidden track, which is way too long...it's not even that good.

4 mins max between the last listed track and the hidden track should be the rule.

But as far as the whole album goes, it really depends on the band, although Tool's latest does seem a bit long-winded at times...

I always shoot for atleast 40 minutes, but an hour is just better. Better than that is filling the disc.
