i dont know if it's been mentioned but my favourite place was Nagano.
beautiful atmosphere to the town, beautiful Temple and beautiful snow monkeys!
also had a great meal in the town, lots of great food

Okay, back to the topic.
My plan is the following:
- Shimonoseki (the ferry from Korea)
- Hiroshima
- Miyajima
- Kyoto + Nara + (maybe) Osaka ... although there isn't much to see in Osaka apparently
- Tokyo

+ maybe the Himeji medieval castle too, if I have enough time.

Anyting good that I'm missing out in my plan?

maybe go to shimokitesawa, it is the artists hang out suburb really, lots of cool little bard and cafes and small galleries
