^ School is school

SuchFriendsAreDangerous 08.31.2009 04:10 PM

kids of america. you need to all stay home so that we don't get swine flu or h1n1 or get attacked by the terrorists or the communists or the Irish or whatever blah blah woof woof scare tactic they sell us these days...

but on the real: stay home anyways, school is just the brainwash/filter mechanism of the prison system, the american police state and the military-industrial complex. why go there?

gmku 08.31.2009 04:11 PM

Yeah, them schools never done did learn me nothing no how.

Conrad 08.31.2009 04:13 PM

I start tomorrow.

I might just throw myself in front of a bus though.

gmku 08.31.2009 04:15 PM

Let us know how that works for you.

i'll say ;)

I wonder what is going to happen when I start my new gig at a rather wealthy and conservative public high school which shall remain nameless.. "i'm not gonna do what you all think i'm gonna do and just FLIP out man.."

but damn it, like all good job interviews, this shit means, "fuck, I gotta go to work in the morning!"

I've gotten use to having all my damn hours cut and never going to work, I have been lazy about things.. also, I suppose that I am also part of this thread now and am going to "go back to school"

you're in high school again, your on acid again!

so push back to square.. not that you need it cuz you dont well there you go, cuz back in school we were the leaders of it all..

notyourfiend 09.01.2009 03:05 PM

Okay. How's this for being a dork.

I already graduated high school and college. But I'm going back to audit a philosophy course.

Alex's Trip 09.02.2009 10:38 AM

I've been at my first year of college since the 23rd.

And fucking get this: I was invited to pledge for a frat. I never considered it until now.

Tempting aspect: cool guys in this particular one that just drink and smoke a lot.

But wtf, a frat? Really now, alex? It seems so counterintuitive...

Don't do it. You can find other chill friends to drink and smoke with. Friends who don't become brothers due to some lame consensus. And friends who don't charge you $$$.

That being said, I went through college without ever stepping foot inside a frat or sorority house. And I had a fucking hella rad time.

yes... and I just got a new gig at rather prestigious and wealthy high school :(

I guess I sold out.. that is unless my ol anarcho-self has a few tricks up my sleeve yet..

Alex's Trip 09.02.2009 06:34 PM

Well that is exactly what I have always thought about frats. Fuck that - I don't need to pay for friends, etc. But I met a few of the guys independently outside of the frat setting, and they were cool. I really am unsure at this point. It seems like it would be fun. It wouldn't be as if I had no other friends. The other frats were fucking lame. But that goddamn connotation of frats will never die. I don't see the harm in doing it. I pay way more dorming than I would in the frat too.

FUCCCCCK

artsygrrl 09.02.2009 09:50 PM

Yeah! Teachers started this week, kids start next week. So, since I'm an art teacher...back to reality. No more 3-hour Sonic Gossip sessions. Shit.
