appetite for destruction blows any "jair metal" band out of the water. Guns and Roses were lumped in with them because the video director for Welcome to the jungle teased axl's hair for the video, which you nver saw again.

they were just a great hard rock band there for a couple of years.

i gots to disagree w/ ya'll on this. their vocals were all high pitched and "homo", and slash just played cock rock guitar solos the whole time. plus they dressed like shit... although dressing liek shit doesn't make you a bad band. i just thought i'd throw that in for good measure.
