to be honest i dont want anything remastered, but Sister does sound bad, to me (amazing album, natch, but i dont like the way its recorded)

yeah, the drumset sounds very trippy on SISTER. the whole album sounds great in its entirety but it really lacks in clarity. which is probably a bonus to a certain extent. either way, a mind-blowing album...

I think their very best produced one is DIRTY. that's the album I mostly refer to when I look around for tones.

it has to be said tho that after GOO each and all of their albums started to sound very pro. I like their style in production a lot.

im giving meself away as a pop bitch here, but i arent ashamed. for me its murray street. that one has the perfect balance between the poppy stuff and the noisy drone side of things in its construction and i love the clarity of the production. jim o rourke was a magician. but then i loved ratehr ripped so i dont neccessarily want him back permanently or anything.
