Re. the sultana thing - in the 70's, English people thought that any curry was not complete without sultanas. The very idea of that makes me want to heave.

took Spanish in high school, much of it is lost on me now

have had an interest to learn French for a long time, but i can't seem to get it right

i am also under the impression i can learn Japanese by listening to "Pretty Little Baka Guy" over and over again

I have fairly good understanding of French. ie enough to live with, but I couldn't express myself abstractly

know fluently mexican, argentinian, gallego (spain spanish), canadian, unitedstatian, u.k.ish.

kinda know scottish, australian, hebrew, arabian.

can read french, italian, a little german, very little norwegian and swedish, and know very little japanese, can't read it though.
